दरअसल, स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर थाना राम जन्मभूमि में थाना प्रभारी की कुर्सी पर बजरंगबली के स्वरूप में बंदर आकार बैठ गया। लोग इन्हें बजरंगबली के नाम से पुकार रहे हैं। प्रभारी निरीक्षक देवेंद्र पाण्डेय ने जैसे ही अपनी कुर्सी पर बन्दर को बैठे देखा उन्होंने सलामी देकर कहा “जय हिंद सर”। देवेंद्र पाण्डेय का कहना है कि, अयोध्या धाम के कोतवाल है बजरंगबली और वही अयोध्या की सुरक्षा करते है। अयोध्या क्षेत्र में यह प्रसंग चर्चा का विषय बन गया है जिसकी चहुंओर चर्चा है
